WHERE TO BUY CURRENT EDITIONS - Here are links to several online Kit Rae Dealers. Other retailers can be found by doing a simple www.google.com search for the name Kit Rae or the product name. For older, discuntinued items, the best place to find them is on ebay, but be wary of counterfeits.

VERIFYING AUTHENTICITY and BLADE MARKINGS - Unfortunately there are a huge number of counterfeits Kit Rae knives and swords out there. Besides the difference in quality, there are several identifying markings that distinguish authentic Kit Rae blades from counterfeits. HERE is a simple blade marking guide.

SWORD AND KNIFE VALUES - We get requests for current values of older swords and knives that are no longer in production. There really is no way of determining what a 'current' value is, and no general database anywhere for this market. It is worth whatever someone is willing to pay for it, but a good place to get an idea of current value is ebay. Check the completed listings on ebay, or do a watch on current ebay listings to see what 'buy it now' or winning bid prices are. You can aslo do an internet search (google, bing, yahoo, et cetera) to find old listings on dealer websites that may still show the selling costs. We do not keep records of the old "suggested retail" pricies used by Kit's distributors or the hundreds of dealers who have sold Kit's product because they rarely reflect the actual selling prices, and the actual selling prices vary by dealer, region, and country.

The first production run of each sword (usually 1000-1500 pieces) included an autographed art print. All new swords created after 2006 are marked with a serial number on the blade.
