NOTE - I have listed the gear and settings I use in most cases, for reference, but note that the tones may not exactly match your rig, depending on which amp you use, your guitar, and pickups, and fingers :) I am not a Gilmour/Pink Floyd gear expert, so your results may vary.

PETE CORNISH P-2 DISTORTION/FUZZ - Here are clips of the P-2. It sounds very similar to a Ram's Head Big Muff, and the class A buffer preamp helps clean up and brighten anything else that comes after it in the signal chain. David Gilmour used one, as well as a Civil War Big Muff, in his 90s touring rig. This is just the P-2 with some delay from a TC Electonic Nova delay. Played with a 2008 American Standard Strat, Seymour Duncan SSL-5 bridge pickup, Fender CS69 neck pickup, into a '65 Fender Twin Reverb RI..

P-2 LIVE GILMOUR 1990s TONE - In these clips I was going for the DSOT/Pulse live tone, with combinations of the BK Butler Tube Driver, and Boss CS-2 compressor. On all of these clips I have a TC Nova delay in stereo and a Boss CE-2 chorus on in the left channel only so it does not dominate the sound. Played with a 2008 American Standard Strat, Seymour Duncan SSL-5 bridge pickup, into a '65 Fender Twin Reverb RI..
